Wedding linen hire at Great Tythe Barn

Great Tythe Barn is a restored 17th-century barn in the Cotswolds near Tetbury, with on-site accommodation for up to 90 guests. The barn seats up to 200 for the wedding breakfast and up to 350 in the evening, under a fairy light canopy, with 196 lime-washed Chiavari chairs included in the hire.

At Great Tythe Barn, the venue's approved caterers provide standard table linen. Couples who want a more designed table often bring in specialist linen to upgrade it. That is where we come in: this November we are dressing a Great Tythe Barn wedding for a planner, with Naturals Straw and Olive Imperial round cloths and Naturals Straw trestle cloths.

How we would dress it. The barn's stone and timber and the light canopy above give you warmth already, so choose linen that adds depth rather than shine. Straw and olive tones sit naturally against lime-washed chairs; mixing two colours across rounds and long tables, as above, creates rhythm across a big room. For 5ft to 6ft rounds choose our 132-inch cloth for a full drop to the floor. Finish with linen napkins and candles.

Tell your caterer and the venue's events team early that ALBA is supplying the linen, so the table dressing plan is agreed before the day.

Every ALBA hire runs for three days, so your linen arrives in good time for setting up and goes back after the weekend. Our minimum spend is £350 including VAT, plus delivery. A 60% deposit secures your date and the balance is due six weeks before the wedding. Linens travel by tracked FedEx, while glassware and other breakables come with our own driver.
