Wedding linen hire at Hyde House
Hyde House is a restored Victorian house near Stow-on-the-Wold with around 20 bedrooms. Ceremonies take place in The Grange, a barn for up to 150 guests, or outdoors beneath the Oak Arbour. After drinks in the courtyard, guests move to Hyde Barn for the wedding breakfast, which seats up to 150, with up to 175 in the evening.
ALBA works with Hyde House season after season. We supply the base tablecloths for most Hyde House weddings, our Naturals Off-White Hemp cloths, so many couples are already sitting at ALBA linen without realising it. Couples who want something more personal can upgrade: to pure linen, a colour, or one of our printed designs, and add matching napkins.
How we would dress it. Hyde Barn is a clean, bright canvas, which makes it ideal for colour. Keep the off-white hemp base and add a coloured linen runner and napkins for an easy lift, or replace the base entirely with a pattern, such as a blue or olive print, for a table that photographs as unmistakably yours. Long tables down the barn suit floor-length cloths; rounds suit 132-inch cloths. Finish with candles, checking the venue's rules on open flame.

Every ALBA hire runs for three days, so your linen arrives in good time for setting up and goes back after the weekend. Our minimum spend is £350 including VAT, plus delivery. A 60% deposit secures your date and the balance is due six weeks before the wedding. Linens travel by tracked FedEx, while glassware and other breakables come with our own driver.

Does ALBA supply the tablecloths at Hyde House?
Yes. We supply the base tablecloths, Naturals Off-White Hemp, for most Hyde House weddings. Couples can upgrade to other ALBA linens.
Can we add napkins or change the colour?
Yes. Linen napkins and alternative colours or prints can be added as an upgrade, subject to stock. Enquire with your date and guest numbers.
How much drop will our cloths have?
Our rectangular cloths are 96 x 144 inches. On a single 6ft trestle that gives about 91cm of drape at each end; joined trestles are dressed as one run with about 100cm to the floor at each end.
