Wedding linen hire at Sudeley Castle
Sudeley Castle is set amid 1,200 acres of Cotswold countryside, and for a wedding the whole estate becomes a backdrop. Blessings take place in St Mary's Chapel, which seats up to 130, or outdoors by the Haha or in the Tithe Barn ruins. The light-filled Orangery seats up to 150 for the wedding breakfast; summer dinners can be laid on the Mulberry Lawn within the ruins of the Banqueting Hall, and the North Lawn takes marquees of all sizes.
We have supplied Sudeley Castle directly, with olive Imperial linen trestle cloths, and our linen and tableware featured in a luxury styled shoot at the castle.
How we would dress it. Sudeley rewards restraint. In the Orangery, long tables in olive or wheat pure linen, falling to the floor, echo the gardens beyond the glass; layer with linen napkins, fine glassware and candlelight for the evening. On the Mulberry Lawn, a long banquet run under the ruins is unforgettable: dress joined trestles as one continuous cloth with generous drop at each end, and keep florals low and loose. In a North Lawn marquee, rounds with 132-inch cloths give a more formal room.
Sudeley is within easy reach of our Rendcomb studio. Book a showroom visit to compare linens in person.
