Wedding linen hire at Pauntley Court

Pauntley Court is an exclusive-use country house near Redmarley D’Abitot in Gloucestershire (GL19 3JA). Couples typically take the estate for a long weekend, with ceremonies in one of eight spaces, drinks on the terrace or in the Panelled Room, and dinner under the Hornbeam Arches for intimate numbers or in a marquee for larger celebrations. From April to October a Tentickle stretch tent sits in the formal gardens.

ALBA is based at Rendcomb, under an hour away, and we know Pauntley well. We have dressed tables for Pauntley Court open days and supplied linen and tableware for weddings on the estate. The venue has also pointed couples our way after they have seen our pieces set up on site.

How we would dress it. Under the Hornbeam Arches, keep the cloths soft and pale so the garden leads: pure linen trestle cloths in wheat or white, with linen napkins and low candles. In the stretch tent or a marquee, joined trestles suit floor-length pure linen or a Katie Julia print. Larger receptions on rounds take our 132-inch cloths. Every ALBA hire runs for three days. Our minimum spend is £350 including VAT, plus delivery. A 60% deposit secures your date; the balance is due six weeks before the wedding.

Do you deliver linen to Pauntley Court?

Yes. Linens travel by FedEx with tracking, and breakables are delivered by ALBA’s own driver. Pauntley is a short run from our Rendcomb studio.

What size cloths suit the Hornbeam Arches or the marquee?

Intimate dinners under the arches usually use trestle cloths on long tables. Larger marquee or stretch-tent receptions often mix trestles and rounds: our 96 × 144 inch cloths for trestles and 132-inch rounds for circular tables.
