Wedding linen hire at Old Sessions House

Old Sessions House on Clerkenwell Green is an eighteenth-century courthouse turned exclusive-hire wedding venue. The Great Room seats around 120 beneath its chandelier — a room that asks for cloths cut with care.

In summer 2026 we dressed a wedding dinner here for a celebration planned by Studio Sorores. Three long rows of tables seated 120 guests, laid with twelve bespoke Ivory Duchess satin tablecloths, each finished with a gathered skirt that fell to the floor, and one hundred and twenty-two matching bespoke satin napkins. We delivered, set up and steamed every cloth on site. These were satin, not pure linen — made for that room.

How we would dress it. For a classic Great Room dinner, floor-length cloths on long runs keep the architecture calm. Pure linen trestle cloths suit a softer look; bespoke satin or a gathered skirt suits a more formal evening. For London we usually send linen by tracked FedEx. For larger events our own team can deliver, set up and steam on site, quoted per event, as we did here. Every hire runs for three days. Minimum spend £350 including VAT, plus delivery.
